RESTAURANTS:

Alejandros is the main restaurant, located on the hotel's "Terrace in the Sky"(on the roof of the Ocean Building). This is also the site of the main pool and Jacuzzi.

Breakfast: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Served buffet style, with a fruit and juice bar, pancake and omelet bar, (cooked to your liking) and more.

Lunch: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Items include Mexican deli, assorted sandwiches, hamburgers, fish of the day, and shrimp.

Dinner has 3 seatings: 6 p.m. , 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. A menu featuring the day's entrees and a sign- up sheet for the dining times are posted daily. (Sign up in the morning to avoid the last seating). Entrees normally include a fish of the day, beef or chicken and a Mexican dish. A salad bar is also included.

Theme nights at dinner may also be announced.

BAR SERVICE for the terrace and pool area is available from Alejandros from 11:00 a. m. to 10:30 p. m.

On the beach is Papagayo Snack Bar. Lunch and snacks are served 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drinks are served 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Lunch includes taquitos, pizza, nachos, sandwiches, and ceviche.

HOTEL NOTES

Check -in 2:00 p.m.
Check-out is noon. Based in room availability, guests requesting an extended stay for a late flight make arrangements and pay a nominal charge at the front desk.

Tipping: the hotel collects a tipping surcharge from all guests at time of check-in. The charge is $7 per person per day, including children. Example: A guest staying 4 days and 3 nights pays 4 days @ $7 per day, or $28.

A Safety Deposit Box is available for no charge in the manager's office (open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily). In room safes may also be rented.

CHILDREN AND INFANTS

Baby-sitting services are available at approximately $8 per hour, and may be arranged with the maids.

Cribs are provide at no charge, based on availability.

A children's pool is located adjacent to the main pool on the Terrace level. The hotel does not provide lifeguards.

The hotel has no children's activity program..

ACTIVITIES

Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi are open 8 a.m..- 8 p.m.

Free tennis is available for guests. Reservations are accepted daily 9 a.m.- noon at the hotel front desk.. Rental racquets are available.

Water sports are offered on the beach for an additional cost. These include banana boat rides, parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing, snorkeling and boogie boards. Price may vary, but generally range from $ 7 to $30.

A Travel Agency on the Terrace level, offers city tours, jungle tours, golf and fishing excursions, and day cruises to various destinations around Banderas Bay.

Hotel has purified water and air conditioning. Suites include a telephone and stoked bar, other catagories do not.

Budget Rooms

On the first floor of the upper tower, Budget rooms face the mountain side. Small rooms with 2 twin beds and bathroom with shower. Recommended for vacationers on a tight budget.

Standard Rooms

On the floors 2 through 8 of the upper tower, all Standard Rooms face the mountain side of the property, away from the ocean, Small but adequate, the rooms have 2 double beds, and bathroom with shower.

Ocean Building Rooms

Rooms located on floors 1-4 in Ocean Building, these rooms have a variety of bedding from kings to 2 twins, and a bathroom with shower. The first floor rooms open to a patio that surrounds the lower pool. Via this patio also is the main access to the beach. Rooms on floors 2,3 and 4, have balconies.

One Bedroom Standard Suites +

Located on floors 1-4 of the Ocean Building, with ocean or partial ocean view and balcony. Access is by stairway only. Suites are approximately 800 square feet, and have a living room, dining area, kitchen with stocked bar, bedroom with 2 double beds, and bathroom with shower.

One Bedroom Suites +

Located on floors 1-8 of the upper tower, with ocean or partial ocean view and balcony. Suites on the first floor have a walk-out patio. Suites are approximately 900 square feet, and have a living room , dining area, kitchen with stocked bar, bedroom generally with a king bed, and bathroom with shower.

Two Bedroom Standard Suites +

Same as a One - Bedroom Suites, with an adjoining Standard Room, living room, dining area, kitchen with stocked bar, bedroom # 1 with king bed, bedroom # 2 with 2 double beds, two bathrooms with showers. Living room and bedroom # 1 have ocean or partial ocean view.

Two Bedroom Suites +

Corner units on floors 1-8 of the upper tower, with ocean or partial ocean view, living room, dining area, kitchen with stocked bar, bedroom # 1 with king bed, bedroom # 2 generally with 1 double and 1 twin bed, 2 bathrooms with showers. Approximately 1,100 square feet.

Three Bedroom Suites +

Combines a Two Bedroom suite with an adjoining Standard Room, living room, dining area, kitchen, stocked bar, balcony with ocean or partial ocean view. Bedroom # 1 includes a king bed, bedroom # 2 generally with 1 double and 1 twin bed, bedroom # 3 with 2 double beds, three bathrooms, each with shower.

+ Suites feature stocked refrigerator with beer, sodas, and liquor. These items are complimentary. In-room bar items are stocked prior to your arrival; once consumed, they are not restocked.

MEZA FAMILY PLAN and FAMILY SUITE PLAN

Meza del Mar's Family Plan is designed for children age 17 or younger, traveling with 1 or more adults. Children staying as part of a family plan are subject to the $ 7 per day tipping surcharge as explained above.

Children age 17 or younger may share rooms with adults at no charge. In all cases the number of children sharing is subject to limitations of existing bedding in the applicable rooms. This limitation is determined solely by the management of hotel.
FAMILY SUITE PLAN - APPLICABLE LOW SEASON SUBJECT TO OCCUPANCY LEVELS
The FAMILY SUITE PLAN is offered during Low Season, excluding holidays. Availability is capacity controlled and may vary throughout the season. Call to check your specific dates. In the event that the FAMILY SUITE PLAN is unavailable, the FAMILY PLAN explained in # 1 is applicable.

The FAMILY SUITE PLAN works as follows:
A 1-Bedroom Suite (triple, double or single occupancy) may be combined (via an internal connecting door), with an adjoining Standard Room to the make the equivalent of a Two-Bedroom Standard Suite (description is listed above). Based on availability, the Standard Room is provided at no charge. Also in the same manner, two or more adults and children traveling together may book a 2 - Bedroom Deluxe Suite and an adjoining Standard Room. In all cases, the number of children sharing is subject to limitations of existing bedding in the applicable rooms. This limitation is determined solely by the management of the hotel.
